WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading, feathering or microshading originated in Far East Asia over 2 decades ago and by 2015 began gaining popularity in the United States. This manual method is a semi-permanent procedure and the finest form of eyebrow tattooing. Using a disposable pen-like tool with a unique microblade attached to deposit pigment into the upper Epidermis layer of the skin to mimic the natural hair of an eyebrow. These hair strokes follow and flow seamlessly with the natural growth of your own hairs. This method can be used to fill in gaps, camouflage scars or create a more flattering shape where hair has been removed and never grown back.
DOES IT HURT?
Microblading has a tolerable pain to it, rating on a scale of 1-10 most clients say about a "4". However, I do use a numbing agent combined with anesthetic gels with 5% Lidocaine before and during the procedure for maximum comfort. Note that pain tolerance will vary from person to person. Most clients compare the pain to rug burn or cat scratches.
